A few weeks ago I went on a hike up Blue Mountain in the Central Adirondacks. It was a cloudy day, but we waited it out at the top until some of the fog lifted and got a great view from the fire tower. I always love hiking in the Adirondacks – I have lots of memories there with my family. I love the dense forest and ancient rocks. Though they are aren’t the highest mountains, many of the trails can be very challenging because they go nearly straight up the mountain over exposed rock.
